The new energy efficient gas boiler technology
'Modulating Control' (a temperature controller) and 'Open Therm' (a gas boiler) are two buzz words in the gas boiler industry today. The controller measures room temperature, or outside temperature in the case of Weather Compensation, and calculates the desired flow temperature depending on the current and desired temperature and time settings.
This means the temperature of your property remains at optimum level throughout the day - or year. The gas boiler has an intelligent interface that will sense and control, among other things, the burner, heating circulation pump, domestic hot water pump and valve, and the mixing valve. Optimum Start is also available if required.
Modulating controls with Open therm boilers are a more effective soltution than an old fashioned thermostat becuase they give long term cost savings to the home owner. This combination is very eco-friendly as it uses the minimum amount of gas to heat your home and has hardly any waste..
